SEM claimed the Class D2 4th place trophy Saturday as they fell to Wynot in the 3rd place consolation game 71-47. Wynot controlled the game throughout holding off SEM every time they tried to make a run. Jace Rosentreader led SEM with a game high 19 points. It was an outstanding tournament for Rosentreader who was named to the Omaha World Herald’s Class D2 all tournament team as he averaged 20 points per game during the tournament scoring 25 in their first game against Walthill and 16 in the semifinals versus Maywood Hayes Center. Chance Daake and Colt Schroeder each scored seven points in the 3rd place game for the Mustangs who conclude their season with an overall record of 18-9. Wynot was led by Dylan Heine who finished with a team high 18.
