The Nebraska girls basketball showcase is scheduled for January 11, 2025 at Kearney High School. The schedule for the showcase was revealed today. The event is the creation of Broken Bow girls head basketball coach Kelly Cooksley. The event will once again showcase some of the top girls basketball talent across the state of Nebraska as well as the nation and will once again feature cross class matchups from across the state. Broken Bow will once again be a part of the event. The Lady Indians will face Freeman in game five of the showcase. Broken Bow finished 19-5 last season and qualified for the Class C1 girls state basketball tournament. Freeman finished last season at 18-6 in Class C2 and was one win away from qualifying for the state tournament falling to Oakland Craig in the C2-8 district championship game last season. Riverdale Ridge from Thornton, CO will be a part of this year’s showcase as they will face Class A Millard West in game four of the showcase. The showcase schedule is listed below
