Sandhills Valley Wins South Loup Boys Golf Invitational

South Loup hosted its annual boys golf invitational Thursday at the Arnold golf course.  Competitors put together some solid scores as they battled strong southwest winds during the day.  Sandhills Valley was the team champion with a low team score of 377 which was two shots better than Hershey who was team runner up with a 379.  Sutherland placed third in the team standings and South Loup was fourth.  Cole Kramer of Sandhills Valley claimed the individual title with a low round of 82 for the 18 hole event.  Others from the KCNI/KBBN coverage area that placed in the top ten included Collin Cooksley of Anselmo-Merna 4th with a round of 89.  Aaron Bartak of Anselmo-Merna, Ethan Hardin of Mullen, and Brady Haake of Sandhills/Thedford finished 7th, 8th, and 9th as each shot a 96 for the tournament.  Ethan Weems of Sandhills Valley was 10th with a 97.
