Rivals Collide in Top Ten Clash as Broken Bow Meets Ord Tonight on KCNI

A new chapter in the Broken Bow / Ord football rivalry will be written tonight as the Indians travel to take on the Chanticleers.  Some great games have been played between the two over the years and tonight shapes up to be another.  Broken Bow has won four in a row, is 5-2 overall, and is ranked for the first time this season by the Omaha World Herald appearing at #10 in Class C1.  Ord has won five in a row, is 6-1 overall, and is ranked #2 in Class C2 by the Omaha World Herald with their only loss coming to C2 #1 Norfolk Catholic.  Broken Bow is averaging 332 yards rushing per game this season.  In order to run the ball effectively you must be physical.  Broken Bow head coach Carlie Wells told Central Nebraska’s Sports Source that he has been pleased with the physicality his team has played with especially in the last few weeks.

Tonight’s game will be broadcast on KCNI 96.3 FM and on kcni1280.com.  Coverage begins with the Custer Federal State Bank pregame show at 6 p.m. followed by the kickoff at 7.
