Record Setting Day for Broken Bow Girls Golf

The Broken Bow girls golf team won yet another team title Thursday at the Kearney Catholic Awarii Challenge at Awarii Dunes golf course. Broken Bow claimed the team championship with a 325 team score. Minden was runner-up with a 352. Broken Bow’s Camryn Johnson had a record setting day in winning the individual title. Johnson broke the school record for nine hole score on the front nine with a 34 then followed that up with a 35 on the back nine for a round of 69, also a school record. Broken Bow again placed four golfers in the top 15 individually. Taylor Schaaf was 4th with an 82. Molly Custer finished 8th with an 84 and Skylar Benjamin was 14th with a 90. Lainey Palmer finished just outside the top 15 with a 93.
