The Nebraska Schools Activities Association has released the pairings for next week’s sub district volleyball tournaments.
Broken Bow will compete at the C1-10 sub in Minden on Monday. The Lady Indians are the #3 seed and will face Kearney Catholic at 6 p.m. Minden is the top seed and will face the winner of Holdrege vs Ord. Monday’s winners will advance to the sub district final in Minden on Tuesday. All Broken Bow matches will be broadcast on KCNI 96.3 FM and kcni1280.com.
Ansley/Litchfield and Anselmo-Merna will both compete at the D2-8 sub in Stuart. A/L and AM will play each other Monday evening with the winner advancing to Tuesday’s sub final against the winner of Stuart vs CWC. Monday’s AM vs A/L match and the sub district final will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com
Arcadia/Loup City and South Loup will both compete at the C2-11 sub at Maxwell. ALC will face Ravenna on Monday with the winner advancing to play Maxwell. South Loup is the #3 seed and will face North Platte St. Pat’s.
Burwell is the top seed and will host the D1-7 sub district tournament. Burwell will face Riverside in the first round. Twin Loup is the #3 seed and will face Fullerton. The winners will face off in the sub final on Tuesday.
SEM is the #2 seed at the D1-9 sub district to be hosted by top seed Amherst. SEM opens against Pleasanton and Amherst faces Elm Creek on Monday.
Sandhills/Thedford secured the top seed in the D2-10 sub and will host the sub district tournament in Thedford. S/T will open against the winner of the Hyannis / Mullen match on Monday while Arthur County will face off against Garden County in the other match of the night.
