NSAA Girls State Golf – Day One

The opening day of the 2025 NSAA girls state golf championships took place on Monday. The Class C state tournament is taking place at North Platte’s Lake Maloney Golf Club. The Class C team leader after day one is Minden with a 328 team score. Columbus Scotus is in second after day one with a 362 team score. Gothenburg qualified for state as a team and finished with a 453 on day one. The Lady Swedes were led by Kaylee Olson who finished with an opening round of 93 and sits in a tie for 28th after the opening round. Mullen’s Austin Deibler qualified for state as an individual and recorded an opening round of 119. Not only is Minden atop the team standings, they are atop the individual standings as well. KayLynn Jorgensen of Minden has the lead after day one with an opening round of 2 over par 74 and teammate Macy Jorgensen is second after day one with a round of 78.

In Class A, the team leader is Omaha Marian after day one with a 317 team score. Lincoln Southwest is second with a 336. There is a three way tie for first on the individual leaderboard with Eden Larson (Lincoln Southwest), Naryn Kim (Lincoln Southwest), and Molly Goc (Columbus) all finishing with a round of 2 over par 74.

In Class B, only seven shots separate the top three teams after day one. Elkhorn North sits first with a 343, Omaha Duchesne is second with a 349, and Gretna East is third with a 350. Anabelle Lang of Elkhorn is atop the individual leaderboard by three shots with an opening round of six over par 78.

The state tournament in all three classes concludes on Tuesday.
