The Nebraska High School Rodeo made a stop in Madison this past weekend for rodeos on Saturday and Sunday.
Among the area highlights on Saturday, the unofficial results showed Haylea Miller of Broken Bow winning the pole bending in a winning time of 22.512 seconds. Jason Ducker Kursave of Arcadia claimed the bull riding title on Saturday with a high score of 70.
On Sunday, Layton Lindner of Broken Bow had the fastest time in the tie down roping at 12.8 seconds. Cayson Johnston of Stapleton was atop the standings in the steer wrestling Sunday with a winning time of 6.12 seconds. Emma Pearson of Broken Bow won the girls cutting with a score of 75. Jason Ducker Kursave was on top of the bull riding standings again Sunday with a high score of 68 and Kassidy Rambat of Taylor had the top time in the breakaway at 2.27 seconds.
