The Nebraska Coaches Association recently announced the individuals who have accepted invitations to play in the 2023 NCA all star girls and boys basketball games this summer. Among those accepting an invitation to play in the boys all star game is Clayton Moore of Mullen. The Mullen senior has committed to play college basketball next season for the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Moore was a Class D2 first team all state selection by the Omaha World Herald and received 2nd team all state honors from the Lincoln Journal Star. Moore averaged 18.1 points and 10.5 rebounds for the Broncos this past season.
Gothenburg’s Kynlee Strauser has been chosen to participate in the NCA girls all star game this summer. Strauser helped lead Gothenburg to a district championship this past season and their second consecutive state tournament appearance.
This will mark the 43rd year for the girls all star game and 54th year for the boys all star game. Both games are scheduled to be played at Lincoln North Star High School on July 24th.
