Mullen Wrestling Qualifies Five for State / Doggett of South Loup Qualifies for State

The Mullen Broncos competed this weekend at the D4 district wrestling championships in Sutherland. Mullen finished third in the team standings and qualified five wrestlers for the state tournament in Omaha. All five qualifiers were also district champions. Jeffrey Forsen was champion at 120 lbs. Eli Paxton was champion at 126. Chase Gracey placed first at 170 lbs. Tel Kvanvig was first at 220 and Isaac Welch was the district champion at 285 lbs.

South Loup competed Friday at Saturday at the D1 district tournament at Pender. Dawson Doggett will represent the Bobcats at the state tournament. Doggett placed 4th at 195 lbs.
