The bracket for the 2025 Mid Nebraska Activities Conference volleyball tournament has been released.
Sandhills/Thedford and Brady are the top two seeds in the tournament and will host opening round games on Thursday October 16th. Sandhills/Thedford is the top seed and will face #8 seed Twin Loup in the first round at Sandhills High School in Dunning. Anselmo-Merna is the #4 seed and will face #5 seed Arthur County in the opening round in Dunning. Brady is the #2 seed in this year’s tournament and will host #7 seed Sandhills Valley in the opening round. Mullen is the #3 seed and will face #6 seed South Loup in the first round in Brady.
The final day of the tournament is Saturday October 18th and will feature the championship semifinals followed by the third place consolation then championship match of the tournament. All consolation bracket matches will be played that day as well. All final day matches will take place at Brady high school.
Central Nebraska’s Sports Source will provide live coverage of opening round matches from Dunning on KCNI radio. The championship semifinals, third place consolation, and championship match will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com. A live video stream of all matches listed above, accompanied by the radio call, will be available through sandhillsexpress.com on the Sandhills Express Facebook Page and Sandhills Express You Tube Channel.
All matches in the tournament will be best 2 of 3 sets this year.
