The 2021 MNAC volleyball tournament will begin today with opening round games being played at Merna and Callaway. Opening round matches in Callaway today will include Sandhills Valley vs Hyannis with the winner advancing to play the #2 seed South Loup today. The other match in Callaway will feature #3 Arthur County vs #6 Cody Kilgore. Opening round matches in Merna today include Sandhills/Thedford vs Brady with the winner advancing to play the top seed Anselmo-Merna today. The other match in Merna today will feature #4 Mullen vs #5 Twin Loup. Matches at both sites will begin at 3 p.m. this afternoon. Today’s opening round matches in Merna will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and on kbbn.com.
Today’s winners will advance to the semifinals which will be played Saturday at North Platte Community College.
