The Mid Nebraska Activities Conference girls basketball tournament begins today with games to be played in Merna and Brady.
Anselmo-Merna will host Twin Loup in the opening round today. The winner will advance to the semifinals where they will face top seed Mullen, who received a first-round bye. Today’s game between Anselmo-Merna and Twin Loup will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM / kbbn.com / Free KBBN Thunderbird App. A live video stream of the game, accompanied by the radio call will be available through the Sandhills Express Facebook Page and Sandhills Express You Tube Channel. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30.
Brady is the #2 seed and will host games today in Brady. Sandhills/Thedford, the #3 seed, will face #6 seed Arthur County at 5:30 central time followed by Brady vs South Loup at 7 p.m. The winners will advance to the semifinals which will be played Thursday at Broken Bow high school.
