The brackets for the Mid Nebraska Activities Conference girls and boys basketball tournaments have been released. The tournaments will take place during the week of January 26th.
Opening round games in the boys tournament will take place on Monday (1/26). First round games will be played at Sargent and Dunning. Games in Sargent will include (#4) Anselmo-Merna vs (#5) Arthur County followed by top seed and defending tournament champion Twin Loup vs Sandhills Valley. Games at Sandhills High School in Dunning will include (#3) Mulllen vs (#6) South Loup followed by #2 seed Sandhills/Thedford vs Brady.
Opening round games in the girls tournament will take place on Tuesday (1/27). First round games will be played at Merna and Brady. Defending tournament champion and top seed Mullen receives a first round bye. Anselmo-Merna, the #4 seed, will host (#5) Twin Loup in the opening round. First round games at Brady will begin with (#3) Sandhills/Thedford vs (#6) Arthur County followed by (#2) Brady vs (#7) South Loup.
The girls and boys semifinals will take place Thursday (1/29) at Broken Bow High School. First round consolation games will be played on January 30th. The third place consolation games and championship games will be played on January 31st at Broken Bow High School.
