The opening round of the Mid Nebraska Activities Conference boys basketball tournament begins today with games to be played in Sargent and Dunning.
Twin Loup is the top seed and will host opening round games today in Sargent. #4 seed Anselmo-Merna will face #5 seed Arthur County at 5:30 followed by Twin Loup vs Sandhills Valley at 7 p.m. Both games will be broadcast live on KCNI 96.3 FM / kcni1280.com / Free KCNI Pure Country App.
Sandhills/Thedford is the #2 seed and will host opening round games at Sandhills High School in Dunning. #3 seed Mullen will face #6 seed South Loup at 5:30 followed by S/T vs Brady at 7 p.m. central time. Games in Dunning will be broadcast live on KBBN 95.3 FM / kbbn.com / Free KBBN Thunderbird App. A live video stream of the games, accompanied by the radio call, will be available through the Sandhills Express Facebook Page and Sandhills Express You Tube Channel.
Winners of today’s games will advance to the semifinals which will be played Thursday at Broken Bow High School.
