MNAC and SWC Tournament Basketball Coverage Continues Today on Central Nebraska’s Sports Source

The Mid Nebraska Activities Conference basketball tournament semifinals will take place today at Broken Bow high school.  The day begins with the boys semifinals tipping off at 3 p.m.  Game one features #2 seed Sandhills/Thedford vs #3 seed Mullen followed by top seed top seed and defending tournament champion Twin Loup against the #4 seed Anselmo-Merna.  The girls semifinals are scheduled to start at 6 p.m. beginning with the #2 seed Brady vs #3 seed Sandhills/Thedford followed by top seed and defending tournament champion Mullen vs #4 seed Anselmo-Merna in a rematch of last year’s tournament championship game.  All semifinals today will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com.  A live video stream of all games, accompanied by the radio call, will be available on the Sandhills Express Facebook page and Sandhills Express You Tube Channel.

The Broken Bow boys basketball team will continue play in the Southwest Conference tournament today when they travel to Minden to face the Whippets in a consolation bracket matchup.  The two met back in December with Minden winning 75-67.  The game is scheduled to tip off at 6:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on KCNI 96.3 FM / kcni1280.com / Free KCNI Pure Country App.

The Broken Bow girls basketball team will next play on Friday when they face top seed Ogallala in the semifinals of the SWC girls basketball tournament.  The game will be the first of the semifinals played at North Platte Community College.  The game will be broadcast on KCNI radio with tip off scheduled for 3:30.
