Matt Miller Officially Signs with MPCC/McCook Rodeo Team

Broken Bow senior Matthew Miller officially signed his letter of intent Tuesday to join the Mid Plains Community College Rodeo Team at McCook.  Miller has been very active in Nebraska High School Rodeo competition.  Miller qualified for the National High School Rodeo Finals in 2021 and placed in the top 15 in the tie down roping competition.  Miller posted the fastest time in the opening go round at nationals in a time of 8.83 seconds and would go on to finish 11th overall in the event.  Miller talked about that performance and how it has given him confidence moving forward.

Wyatt Clark, coach of the Mid Plains/McCook rodeo team, was on hand for the signing and spoke about what made Miller a good fit for the program.

Miller said he looks forward to competing this spring and summer in high school rodeo one last time.  The spring season for Nebraska high school rodeo begins the weekend of April 22 at McCook.
