The Broken Bow volleyball team will travel to Centura today for a triangular with Centura and Centennial. Broken Bow enters at 5-7 this season, Centennial enters at 3-11, and the host team Centura is undefeated at 14-0 and ranked #1 by the Omaha World Herald in Class C2. Both Broken Bow matches will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com. A live video stream of the matches, accompanied by the radio call, will be available through the Sandhills Express Facebook Page and the Sandhills Express You Tube Channel.

A couple of area football games are scheduled for today. In Class D2, South Loup (3-1) will host Franklin (1-3). After falling to top ten ranked North Platte St. Pat’s in their season opener, the Bobcats have won three in a row including a 34-30 win last week over previously unbeaten Hemingford. In Class D3, Mullen (2-2) will host Brady (4-0).
Also on the local sports calendar today, Broken Bow, Mullen, and Sandhills Valley are among the teams scheduled to compete today at the Ogallala cross country invitational.
