The Broken Bow wrestling team is back on the mat today when they host North Platte for a dual. The dual will take place at the Broken Bow Middle School Auditorium. The Broken Bow wrestling team had a great start to its season last week with dual wins over Wood River and Arcadia/Loup City followed by claiming the team title at their home invitational this past Saturday. The dual with North Platte has produced some great matches the past few years. Broken Bow wrestling coach Ed Schaaf said the dual with North Platte will be a good measuring stick for his team.
Matches are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Central Nebraska’s Sports Source will present live play by play coverage of the varsity matches on KCNI 96.3 FM and on the web at kcni1280.com.
Also on the local sports calendar today, the Mullen and Sandhills/Thedford girls and boys basketball teams will be in action today. Mullen is scheduled to host Valentine and Sandhills/Thedford is scheduled to play at Wallace.
