Anselmo-Merna will host Arcadia/Loup City tonight for a girls and boys basketball doubleheader. The AM girls are off to a 2-0 start with wins against Paxton and Sandhills Valley. ALC is looking for their first win of the season. On the boys side, each team enters at 1-1. Anselmo-Merna edged Paxton in their season opener but then fell to Sandhills Valley last Friday. ALC dropped their opener to Broken Bow but then came back the following night to defeat Pleasanton in overtime. Tonight’s games will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com with the girls varsity game scheduled to tip off at 6 p.m.
The Broken Bow girls basketball team returns to the court tonight. The Lady Indians, 1-0 on the season, will face Amherst who enters with a record of 1-1.
In other area action scheduled for tonight, Mullen will face Valentine in a girls and boys doubleheader. The Mullen girls and boys are both off to a 1-1 start. Cozad will host Pleasanton tonight in a girls and boys doubleheader.
