The Broken Bow volleyball team will travel to Minden today for a volleyball triangular with Minden and Ogallala. Broken Bow is now 13-8 on the season and have won 8 of their last 10 matches. The Lady Indians will match up against two of the better teams in the state in Class C1 today. Ogallala enters at 21-3 and sit atop the Class C1 power point standings. Minden is 18-6 and sits fifth currently in the C1 point standings. Minden will face Ogallala in the opening match of the evening scheduled for 5 p.m. central followed by Broken Bow vs Ogallala in match #2 and Broken Bow vs Minden in match #3. Both Broken Bow matches will be broadcast this evening on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com.

In area high school football today, the D2-9 district title will be on the line tonight when Mullen (6-0) hosts Sandhills/Thedford (4-2). Both teams are undefeated in district play. The game is scheduled for a 6:30 (mountain time) / 7:30 (central time) kickoff. In other area football action today, Sandhills Valley will host Arcadia/Loup City.
Broken Bow will host the Southwest Conference cross country championships today at the Broken Bow golf course. The event is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
