Local Sports Calendar 10/10 – Broken Bow Volleyball on KBBN

The Broken Bow volleyball team will welcome Minden and Ogallala to the Indian gym tonight for a volleyball triangular.  Broken Bow is 15-6 on the season, Ogallala is 19-5, and Minden is undefeated at 25-0 and top ranked in Class C1 by the Omaha World Herald.  Broken Bow will play in the first and last match of the evening with Ogallala facing Minden in match #2.  Both Broken Bow matches will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com.  The opening match is scheduled for 5 p.m.

Other area volleyball matches scheduled for tonight include:
Ansley/Litchfield at the Overton triangular with Overton and Loomis
Twin Loup at the Burwell triangular with Burwell and Riverside
Anselmo-Merna at the Elba triangular with Elba and Central Valley
South Loup vs Cozad
Arcadia/Loup City at Ord
SEM at Alma
Gothenburg at McCook

Also on the local sports calendar today, the Southwest Conference cross country championships will take place at Fredrick Peke Golf Club in Valentine. Southwest Conference members include Broken Bow, Holdrege, Cozad, Gothenburg, Ainsworth, Ogallala, Minden, and McCook.
