Valentine will host Gothenburg and Broken Bow for a girls and boys wrestling triangular today. The Broken Bow girls team will dual Valentine at 5 p.m. followed by boys duals between Gothenburg and Valentine, Broken Bow vs Gothenburg, and Broken Bow vs Valentine. The Broken Bow boys are 5-3 in duals this season with wins against Northwest, Logan View, Wood River (twice), and Raymond Central. Gothenburg enters with a 7-7 dual record with wins over Sidney (twice), Hershey, Adams Central, O’Neill, Ogallala, and Chase County. Valentine has wrestled just two duals this season winning against Gordon-Rushville and falling to Chadron. All Broken Bow duals will be broadcast tonight on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com.
In other area wrestling action today, Arcadia/Loup City competes in a quad with Ravenna, Centura, and Palmer. Mullen is at Maxwell for a tri with Maxwell and Brady. Sandhills/Thedford and Sandhills Valley are at Hyannis for a quad with Hyannis and South Platte.
