Jaden Bush of South Loup and Peyton Paxton of Mullen Claim MNAC Cross Country Titles

The Mid Nebraska Activities Conference cross country championships took place Tuesday at the Arnold golf course.  The team titles were claimed by South Loup in the boys division and Mullen in the girls division.  Peyton Paxton of Mullen was the girls individual champion in a winning time of 20:41.5 followed by Riley Hegland of Mullen in second (20:53.4).  Rounding out the top five in the girls standings were Ella Cool of South Loup in third, Ivy Tullis of South Loup was fourth, and Harper Andersen of Mullen was fifth.

Jaden Bush of South Loup was the boys individual champion in a winning time of 17:59.8 followed by Connor Sutton of Sandhills/Thedford in second (18:07.2).  Rounding out the top five in the boys standings were Keith Morash of Sandhills Valley in third,  Josiah Coleman of South Loup in fourth, and Dawson Mason of South Loup was fifth.
