The 2024 NSAA boys state golf championships came to their conclusion on Wednesday.  The Class C tournament took place at Elks Country Club in Columbus.  After the first round was cancelled Tuesday because of inclement weather, the event became an 18 hole tournament on Wednesday.

Broken Bow’s Jack White was among the state competitors on Wednesday. White started his round on the back nine and started strong with pars on holes 11 and 12 to start +1 after three holes and would finish with a 45 on the back nine. Moving to the front nine, White finished strong with pars on two of the final three holes to post a 46 for a round of 91 which tied for 62nd overall out of a field of 98 participants.  Sam Wells of St. Paul and Nash Malone of Kearney Catholic tied for the low round of the tournament with a 1 over par 73.  Just six shots separated the top 16 golfers as it took a score of 79 to medal in the top 15 plus ties.
