The Broken Bow Lady Indians went 2-1 and finished as the runner up at the Lexington volleyball invite on Saturday. Bow opened the tournament with a straight set win over Holdrege 25-19, 25-14. Klarissa Dowdy had seven kills and Janae Marten had six to move Broken Bow into the semifinals. In the semis, Bow faced Chase County. The match went three sets with Broken Bow dropping the first set 22-25, but came back to win set #2 25-23 and then won in the third 26-24. Addison Ellis had a team high 14 kills and Klarissa Dowdy had twelve to help Broken Bow advance to the championship. The Lady Indians would face Central Valley for the title. Central Valley claimed the championship winning in straight sets 25-21, 25-18. Broken Bow is now 5-1 on the season.
