The Broken Bow volleyball team traveled to Centura high school Thursday evening for a triangular with Centura and Centennial. The night began with Centura defeating Centennial in straight sets (25-9, 25-22). Broken Bow faced Centennial in match #2 collecting a straight set win 25-19, 25-11. Broken Bow finished with 22 kills in the match led by Baylee Clark with seven, Izabelle Tibbs had five, Olivia Neely had four. Broken Bow faced Centura in the final match of the night. Centura entered with a 14-1 record and was ranked #9 in Class C2 this week by the Lincoln Journal Star but the night belonged to the Lady Indians as they secured their biggest win of the year to date in straight sets 25-18, 25-21. Izabelle Tibbs led the offensive attack with six kills. Broken Bow improves to 7-6 on the season and will compete at the Adams Central Invitational on Saturday.
