The Broken Bow volleyball team dropped its season opener to Hershey on the road Thursday night. Broken Bow took the opening set 25-17. The Lady Indians had set point at 24-23 in the second set but Hershey ran off three unanswered points to take the set 26-24 and tie the match. Broken Bow came back to dominate set #3 winning 25-13 but Hershey would respond again and tie the match by winning set #4 25-21. In set five, Hershey scored the first 11 points and then held off a Broken Bow rally to win the set 15-10 and the match 3-2. Olivia Neely led Broken Bow in kills with 18 and Izabelle Tibbs had 14. McKenna Jacobsen finished with 40 assists.
