The Broken Bow volleyball team won its season opener Thursday night 3 sets to 1 over Hershey at the Indian gym. The Lady Indians took the opening two sets by identical scores of 25-16. Hershey fought back to win the third set 25-20 to extend the match. Broken Bow came back with a strong response dominating the 4th set and winning 25-7. Broken Bow will compete Saturday at the Bill Marshall Classic at the Heartland Events Center in Grand Island as they face Malcolm.
