Broken Bow traveled to Minden on Thursday for a triangular with Minden and Ogallala. The night began with a battle of C1 top five teams with Ogallala defeating Minden in straight sets 25-15, 25-19. Broken Bow faced Ogallala in match #2. Ogallala took the opening set 25-14 but Broken Bow fought back in the second set. Broken Bow had set point at 24-18. Ogallala ran off six in a row to tie it up at 24-24 but Broken Bow would not be denied as they prevailed 27-25 to extend the match. The third set went back and forth. Broken Bow had match point at 24-23 but Ogallala won the point and ultimately took the set and the match winning 27-25 in the third. Izabelle Tibbs had nine kills in the match while Olivia Neely and Baylee Clark each had eight. In the final match of the night, Minden defeated Broken Bow in straight sets 25-19, 25-19. Izabelle Tibbs led the team in kills with eight. Broken Bow is now 13-10 on the season.
