South Loup collected its first win of the season winning over Sandhills Valley 46-6 Friday night in Arnold. South Loup quarterback Dylan Pandorf finished with three rushing touchdowns and also threw for a touchdown. Conner Paulsen had a rushing and receiving touchdown for the Bobcats. South Loup’s defense forced seven Sandhills Valley turnovers and produced a defensive score as Crew Witthuhn returned an interception for a touchdown. Sandhills Valley’s score came on a one yard touchdown run by Brayden McNutt.
Broken Bow fell to Ord Friday night 35-0. Ord quarterback Jordan Williams ran for two touchdowns and had three touchdown passes leading the Chanticleers to their first win of the season. The Ord defense came up with two stops inside the ten yard line. Broken Bow is now 1-3 on the season and will begin district play next Friday when they travel to Cozad. The Haymakers are now 2-2 on the season after running away from Chase County Friday night 62-20.
