Twin Loup remained unbeaten with a 66-6 win over Mullen Friday night. Oran Grint scored on touchdown runs of 35 and 45 yards to put Twin Loup up early and later scored on a 2 yard touchdown run. Carter Hall had a 49 yard touchdown run for the Wolves and Blake Bottorf had two touchdown runs. The Wolves also scored on special teams and defense returning an interception for a touchdown and Queston Young returned a kickoff 71 yards for a touchdown. Other scores for the Wolves included a 15 yard touchdown pass from Yahyah Harris to Jackson Hall and Nathan Lowry scored on a 14 yard touchdown run. Mullen’s score came on a 1 yard run by Nick Gonzalez.
Broken Bow fell to Cozad Friday night on the road 35-0. Cozad quarterback Ethan Atchison finished with four touchdown passes and a touchdown run for the Haymakers who improved to 2-2 on the season. Broken Bow falls to 1-3 and will travel to Kearney Catholic next Friday to start district play.
