The Broken Bow football team concluded its season on the road at Gothenburg on Friday. Gothenburg quarterback Landon Mroczek threw for two touchdowns and scored on a 65 yard touchdown run to lead Gothenburg to a 35-7 win over Broken Bow. Broken Bow had a chance to score in the first half but was held on 4th down and goal as Gothenburg led 21-0 at the half. Broken Bow scored on their opening drive of the second half as Ayden Clark capped off a 55 yard touchdown drive with a 5 yard touchdown run to make the score 21-7 but Gothenburg would add two fourth quarter touchdowns to pull away for the win. Broken Bow concludes the season at 3-6 while Gothenburg won their third in a row to improve to 5-4 on the season.
