It is another big football Friday around the area today. Broken Bow will travel to O’Neill to face the Eagles tonight. Broken Bow is 2-1 after a thrilling 14-10 win over McCook last Friday. Broken Bow head coach Carlie Wells told KCNI/KBBN sports that they have talked about not having a “hangover” following last week’s emotional win.
“We had a good scouting report meeting on Monday. We’ll see how practice ends up here the rest of the week. We don’t want to have a hangover. We talked about that. It was a pretty big win for our kids. A lot was on the line so we just can’t have that hangover. We’ve go to come out and put in the same effort we had last week. We’ll see, hopefully our kids will respond really well.”
Tonight’s game will be broadcast on KCNI 96.3 FM and kcni1280.com. Coverage begins at 6 p.m. with the Custer Federal State Bank pregame show. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
