Anselmo-Merna hosted Twin Loup for a girls and boys basketball doubleheader Thursday night. The AM girls collected their 9th win of the season as they edged Twin Loup 42-37. Shaylyn Safranek led the way for the Lady Coyotes with a game high 14 points. Twin Loup was led by Elsie Ottun who finished with a team high 13. The Anselmo-Merna boys picked up their first win of the season defeating Twin Loup 45-31. Collin Cooksley had a big night for the Coyotes finishing with a game high 23 points. Twin Loup was led by Aaron Glendy who finished with a team high 8 points.
