Sandhills/Thedford claimed the D2-8 girls sub district title Thursday night. The Lady Knights defeated Anselmo-Merna 42-27 to advance to the Class D2 district finals. Sandhills/Thedford was led by Jaylen Dimmitt who had a game high 14 points. Dayle Haake also finished in double figures for S/T with 12. Anselmo-Merna was led by Rhianen Myers who scored a team high nine points.
In other area girls sub district action, SEM fell to Amherst in the finals of the D1-10 sub district tournament 70-54.
