Broken Bow traveled to Ord for a girls and boys basketball doubleheader Tuesday night. The Broken Bow girls collected their 16th win of the season pulling away in the second half for a 56-40 win. Broken Bow shot well from the outside finishing with twelve 3’s in the game as a team. Half of those came from Charlee Myers who finished with a game high 21 points to lead the Lady Indians. The Broken Bow boys picked up their seventh win of the season. Broken Bow led 40-28 at the half but was outscored 19-9 in the third quarter as Ord pulled to within two heading to the final quarter. In the fourth, Braxtton Johnson made two crucial free throws in the final seconds to help secure a 64-60 victory. Broken Bow had three players finish in double figures led by Dominic Nowak who had a game high 20 points. Zach Jackson finished with 16 points and Johnson had 14 for the Indians. Broken Bow will face Cozad on the road Friday night.
