Broken Bow traveled to Ord for a girls and boys basketball doubleheader on Tuesday night. The Broken Bow girls collected their 14th win of the season defeating Ord 56-29. Broken Bow held Ord to just 10 points in the first half. Broken Bow had three players finish in double figures led by Charlee Myers who finished with a game high 20 points with 16 coming in the second half. Halle Quinn finished with eleven points and Jaycee Staples had 10 for the Lady Indians. The Broken Bow boys trailed Ord 31-27 at half but outscored the Chanticleers 36-16 in the second half to pull away for a 63-47 win. Five players scored in double figures for the Indians led by Dominic Nowak who scored 12 of his team high 15 points in the second half. Drew Ellis had 13, Kyan Tobey finished with 12, Zach Jackson had 11, and Cash Kleeb scored 10 off the bench to help lead Broken Bow to its eighth win of the season. Broken Bow will host Cozad for a girls and boys basketball doubleheader on Thursday.
In games broadcast on KBBN radio, Arcadia/Loup City hosted Ansley/Litchfield for a girls and boys basketball doubleheader. In the girls game, Ansley/Litchfield collected its ninth win of the season 46-34. Ava Paitz scored a game high 12 points and Caydence Feldman scored 10 for the Lady Spartans. ALC was led by Brianna Lueck who finished with a team high 11. In the boys game, Arcadia/Loup City improved to 11-9 on the season with a 68-40 win. Three players finished in double figures for ALC led by Eli Jaixen with 16. Ryan Kaslon had 14 and Isaac Fitzgerald finished with 15. Ansley/Litchfield was led by Landon Schulte and Owen Cunningham who each finished with 13 points Daevon Magner also finished in double figures with 11.
