Twin Loup hosted Anselmo-Merna Thursday night for a girls and boys basketball doubleheader. In the boys game, Anselmo-Merna edged Twin Loup 38-36. The Coyotes were led by Dane Duryea who had a game high 15 points and Quinten Myers also finished in double figures with 12. Eight players scored for Twin Loup led by Mace Beran who had a team high seven points. In the girls game, Anselmo-Merna defeated Twin Loup 62-43. AM was led by Makenna Miller who had a game high 20 points and Rhianen Myers also finished in double figures for AM with 17. Twin Loup had two players finish in double figures led by Ragan Mauler who had a team high 14 points and Cassidy Grint finished with 10.
