Broken Bow traveled to Minden Saturday for a girls and boys basketball doubleheader. In the girls game, Minden led Broken Bow 17-15 at the half but Bow would outscore Minden 23-12 in the third quarter to take a nine point lead into the fourth. Minden came back in the final period outscoring Broken Bow 23-10 on their way to a 52-48 win. Minden’s comeback was fueled by going 12 of 13 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter. Broken Bow seniors MaKinley Tobey and Halle McCaslin combined for 45 of Broken Bow’s 48 points. Tobey had a game high 25 and McCaslin finished with 20 for the Lady Indians who fall to 3-1 on the season. Minden was led by Myla Emery who had a team high 16. In the boys game, Minden pulled away in the second half for a 69-32 win. The Indians were led by Braxtton Johnson who had a team 11 points. Dominic Nowak finished with 8 points for Broken Bow and Zach Jackson had 7.
