Sandhills/Thedford hosted Twin Loup for a girls and boys basketball doubleheader Saturday in Dunning. In the girls game, Sandhills/Thedford improved to 2-0 with a 51-26 win. The Lady Knights had two players finish in double figures led by Dayle Haake who had a game high 17 points and Laney Dahlberg finished with 10. Leading scorers for Twin Loup were Arin Smith, Miranda Olson, and Carsen Vincent who all finished with 5 points. In the boys game, Sandhills/Thedford used a 12-0 run to close the third quarter to help secure a 41-33 win over Twin Loup and improve to 2-0 on the season. The Knights were led by Brady Dahlberg who had a team high 16 points. Kyle Cox also finished in double figures for S/T with 11 points. Twin Loup was led by Aaron Glendy who had 16 points and Quincy Ryker finished with 15.
