Broken Bow hosted St. Paul for a girls and boys basketball doubleheader on Saturday at the Indian gym. The Broken Bow girls improved to 3-1 on the season as they pulled away in the second half for a 52-36 win. Broken Bow was led by Halle McCaslin who had a team high 14 points and MaKinley Tobey also finished in double figures with 13. The Broken Bow boys suffered a heartbreaking loss as St. Paul pulled out the victory 43-42. Broken Bow inbounded the ball from full court with two seconds left but a shot at the buzzer was off the mark as the Wildcats held on the for the win. Eli Coble had a huge game for the Indians finishing with 21 points. Broken Bow drops to 1-2 on the season. Both teams will play at Hershey on Tuesday. The games will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and on kbbn.com.
