Broken Bow traveled to Minden for a girls and boys basketball doubleheader on Thursday night. The Bow girls dropped to 1-3 on the season falling to Minden 52-27. Minden outscored Broken Bow 15-3 in the fourth quarter to pull away and secure the win. Seven players scored for Broken Bow. The Lady Indians were led by Charlee Myers who scored a team high six points.
In the boys game, Broken Bow knocked down seven 3’s in the opening quarter to jump out to a 26-13 lead at the end of the first quarter and led 48-37 at halftime. Minden fought back in the second half outscoring Broken Bow 20-12 in the third quarter to pull to within three.
Minden completed their comeback by outscoring Broken Bow 18-7 in the fourth quarter to secure a 75-67 win. Broken Bow had three players finish in double figures led by Drew Ellis who finished with a game high 22 points. Kyan Tobey finished with 21 points and Zach Jackson scored 14 for the Indians who fall to 1-2 overall.
