The Broken Bow girls basketball team improved to 2-0 with an impressive 52-33 win over Holdrege in their home opener. Bow jumped out to an 18-8 lead after the first quarter and stretched the lead to 37-21 at halftime. MaKinley Tobey and Halle McCaslin combined for 47 of Broken Bow’s 52 points. Tobey finished with a game high 28 with 24 of those points coming in the first half while McCaslin finished with 19 points. The Broken Bow boys team dropped to 1-1 on the season falling to Holdrege 61-37. Broken Bow was led by Zach Jackson who finished with a team high 10 points.
