South Loup hosted Sandhills/Thedford for a girls and boys basketball doubleheader Thursday night in Arnold. The South Loup boys won their seventh in a row pulling away in the second half for a 47-32 win. South Loup led 29-25 at half but held S/T scoreless in the 4th quarter and outscored the Knights 18-7 in the second half. South Loup was led by Crew Witthuhn who had a game high 22 points. Conner Paulsen also finished in double figures for the Bobcats with 12. Sandhills/Thedford was led by Brady Haake and Maurice Robinson who each finished with eight points. The Sandhills/Thedford girls collected their 7th win of the season with a 61-29 win. The Lady Knights were led by Laney Dahlberg who scored a game high 19 and Karley Haake also finished in double figures for S/T with 15. South Loup was led by Emma Stallbaumer who finished with a team high 12 points.
