Sandhills/Thedford hosted South Loup Thursday for a girls and boys basketball doubleheader. In the girls game, Sandhills/Thedford collected its 9th win of the season with a 67-30 win over South Loup. Nine players scored for Sandhills/Thedford led by Dayle Haake who had a game high 20 points. Also finishing in double figures for the Lady Knights were Jaylen Dimmitt with 12 points and Karley Haake finished with 11. South Loup was led by Bryn Schwarz who had a team high 17 points. The boys game featured two teams who were a combined 14-3. Sandhills/Thedford led 25-24 at the half but South Loup turned the game around in the third quarter outscoring S/T 15-3 on their way to a 56-43 win to improve to 8-1 on the season. Trey Connell of South Loup led all scorers with a game high 25 points. Cache Gracey also finished in double figures for the Bobcats with 12 points. Sandhills/Thedford was led by Brady Dahlberg who had 12 points and Kyle Cox finished with 11.
