South Loup hosted Arcadia/Loup City for a girls and boys basketball doubleheader on Tuesday in Callaway. In the girls game, Arcadia/Loup City collected its ninth win of the season 36-17. ALC was led by Eva Jaixen who had half of the Lady Rebels’ points scoring a game high 18 points. South Loup was led by Jade Bierman who had a team high five points all of which came in the final quarter. In the boys game, ALC led 27-25 at halftime but South Loup turned things around in the third outscoring ALC 25-13 in the quarter on their way to a 61-47 win. Conner Paulsen led South Loup with a game high 26 points with 13 coming in the third quarter. Crew Witthuhn also finished in double figures for the Bobcats with 15. ALC had two players finish in double figures led by Eli Jaixen with a team high 17 and Max Lewandowski finished with 12.
