Broken Bow hosted Wood River for a girls and boys basketball doubleheader Friday night at the Indian gym. It was a record setting night for the Broken Bow girls basketball team as they set a new school record with most made 3’s in a game with 17 in a 74-48 win. Charlee Myers made six 3’s and finished with a game high 23 points. Janae Marten made five 3’s to finish with 15 points. Gaby Staples also finished in double figures for the Lady Indians with 13 points and Halle Quinn made three 3’s and finished with 11 points as Broken Bow improved to 10-4 on the season. The hot shooting from long range continued for the Broken Bow boys team as they made eleven 3’s in a 67-52 win over Wood River to collect their fifth victory of the season. The Indians had three players finish in double figures led by Dominic Nowak with a game high 25 points. Zach Jackson finished with 15 points and Braxtton Johnson had 13.
