Gothenburg Cross Country Invite Results – Broken Bow Girls and Boys Place Third

Gothenburg hosted its annual cross country invitational Thursday at Wildhorse golf course. North Platte won the girls team title followed by Gothenburg in 2nd and Broken Bow placed third in the girls team standings. The individual champion was Scout Bell of Gothenburg with a winning time of 20:07. Broken Bow’s Ashlyn Schauda placed sixth overall in a time of 21:30. Broken Bow’s Genesis Guevara finished in the top 25 finishing 22nd (23:16) and Maydee Guevara finished in the top 30 placing 28th (23:55).

Gothenburg won the boys team title followed by Minden in second just one point behind and Broken Bow placed third in the boys team standings. The boys individual champion was Tyler Hetz of Gothenburg in a winning time of 16:44. Broken Bow’s Logan Bell had a top ten finish placing ninth overall in a time of 18:48. Broken Bow had two other runners place in the top 25. Emmett Palmer was 21st (19:41) and Garrett Johnk was 23rd (19:52).
