Broken Bow begins play at the C1-11 girls basketball sub district tournament today. The Lady Indians will face Kearney Catholic tonight in Gothenburg with the winner advancing to the sub district final on Thursday. The Lady Indians are 16-5, have won seven in a row and 10 of their last 11. Kearney Catholic enters tonight’s game at 12-11. The two met earlier in the season with Broken Bow winning 48-46. Tonight’s game is scheduled to tip off at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on KCNI 96.3 FM and kcni1280 .com.
Ansley Litchfield advanced at the D2-7 sub district at Sandhills High School in Dunning with a 58-32 win over Elba. Ansley/Litchfield was led by Kerry Ryan who scored a game high 19 points. Kaylee Rohde also finished in double figures with 12 points. 
The Lady Spartans advance to play the top seed Sandhills/Thedford tonight with the tip off scheduled for 7 p.m. Prior to that, Anselmo-Merna will face Pleasanton at 5:30 with tonight’s winners advancing to play each other in the sub district final on Thursday. Tonight’s games will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com. A live video stream of the game, accompanied by the radio call, will be available on the Sandhills Express Facebook page and Sandhills Express You Tube channel.
South Loup advanced at the C2-11 sub with a 56-30 win over Sutherland Monday night. The Lady Bobcats will face the top seed Southern Valley tonight with the winner advancing to play the winner of Southwest vs North Platte St. Pat’s on Thursday.
Twin Loup advanced at the D1-9 sub at Ravenna with a 54-26 win over Burwell. Twin Loup will play top seed Ravenna tonight. Tonight’s other game at the D1-9 sub features SEM vs. Centura.
Arcadia/Loup City begins play at the C2-9 sub district tonight at Amherst. The Lady Rebels will face the top seed Amherst with the winner advancing out to play the winner of tonight’s Wood River / Doniphan Trumbull matchup.
Sandhills Valley is the #3 seed at the D1-11 sub district at Hayes Center. The Lady Mavericks will face the #2 seed Cambridge tonight.
Mullen is the #2 seed at the four team D2-12 sub district tournament. Mullen will play Hyannis with the winner advancing to play the winner of Hay Springs vs Cody-Kilgore
